Pioneer Language Institute was established in Sept. 1987 and received full accreditation in May 1989. Pioneer uses the most modern techniques to effectively teach all levels of Mandarin conversation and written Chinese to non-native speakers.
Pioneer has a large staff of experienced instructors who have completed an intensive training program sponsored by Jacqueline L. Y. Wu. Ms. Wu holds an MA degree in East Asian Languages and Literature from the University of Hawaii and is the author of Practical Newspaper Readings (), Reading Chinese newspapers: A Modern Approach () and The Easily Confused Chinese Characters ().
